ATOM EAST is a folk/rock band from Richmond, VA that was created in 2016 by cousins and long-time band mates, Adam and Shawn Drudge. With the help of bassist and engineer/producer, Tim Wade, the three were able to create a small body of original music. Over time, the studio creations grew to live performances. Drummer, Noel Burton, and keyboardist, Scott Young, came on board in 2021 complete the full band as you see it now. Atom East looks forward to continue to grow with their live sound and performances. - GONE GOODBYE -
In November 2016, ATOM EAST released their first album titled, Gone Goodbye.  "It was a personal project where we didn't necessarily want to stick to a genre or message.  We wanted out of our old "skin" and to make on our own sound" - Shawn Drudge.  From folk, to country, to rock and reggae, there is a song for everyone on Gone Goodbye.

- ANOTHER DAY -
The second Atom East album has been a labor of love and deeply introspective in the eyes of songwriter and lead singer Adam Drudge.  "With our first project, I was so against sounding like one band or one form of music that I just wanted every song to be different.  On this album I felt like we finally found our sound and I was able to focus on some personal feelings, insecurities and how much I love the people in my life." 

Each song showcases "Another Day" and what someone goes through in regards to relationships, specifically love.  The song "Picture" the narrator is looking for that picture perfect person.  In "Oz" you have someone who is learning to love for the right reason.  In "Hold You In My Heart" you have someone who's dying and leaving a special message to their loved one.  And in "To Go Back In Time" the narrator is wishing they had what they once had.  "It's certainly an emotional journey full of ups and downs.  We've all been there and we'll all go to these places if we haven't experience them yet" - Adam Drudge.
